BUK School Fees Schedule, Payment Procedure for 2019/2020

All new and returning students of  Bayero University, Kano (BUK) as well as their sponsors should take note. Below, you will find the amount payable as school fees by Nigerian and Non-Nigerian undergraduate students of the institution for the 2019/2020 academic session.

BUK School Fees

The 2019/2020 BUK School Fees Schedule 

A. ACCEPTANCE FEE: (to be paid by all new students prior to screening) – N10,000

B. TUITION FEES:

  • Nigerians – Free
  • Non-Nigerians – in the Faculties/College of:
    • Arts & Islamic Studies; Social Sciences, Management Sciences – N200,000
    • Education and Law – N300,000
    • Agriculture, Communications, Computer Science and IT, Engineering, Earth and Environmental Science, Life Science, Physical Sciences, School of Continuing Education (SCE) – N400,000
    • College of Health Sciences including Pharmaceutical Sciences – N600,000

C. GENERAL REGISTRATION CHARGES (Payable by all Students):

BUK School Fees Payment Procedures 2019/2020

Payment of fees/charges shall be made online through the University’s Students’ Registration Portal which can be accessed through https://portal.abu.edu.ng.

A. Fresh Students

All fresh students can only access the portal after they am screened and allocated with unique matriculation number For first login.

Fresh students shall use their matriculation number as Username and State of Origin as default password, respectively.

Thereafter, they will be able to update their personal profile and bio-data. The update enables the students to generate schedule of charges and proceed with the payment processes as stipulated below:

B. Returning Students

All returning students should use their; Matriculation Numbers and their password to login into the portal:

C. Online Payments

All payment of charges should he done online yin REMITA. All students making payment are to click the PAY via REMITA link on the portal to generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.

Students can choose any of the following channels for payment:

  • Use of debit cards (ATM);
  • Online/ Internet Banking
  • Use of POS (Point of Sale) machines in designated Units within the University Campus: (Rooms Old and 013. Ground Floor. Senate Building, Finance Office, Institute of Education, School of Postgraduate Studies and Institute of Administration. Bongo Campus).
