The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, OAU has released a fraud alert to admission seekers. It is notice on the OAU Post-UTME/Admission screening for the 2017/2018 academic session. The form is not yet out on sale.

This is to inform the general public that the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has not released any Post UTME timeline or issued any criteria for admission in respect of the 2017/2018 Admission Exercise.

ALL PERSONS ARE HEREBY ADVISED TO DISREGARD ANY INFORMATION REQUESTING FOR PAYMENTS OR THAT CANDIDATES SHOULD COME FOR ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE OF ANY SORT, AS NO DATE HAS YET BEEN FIXED.

The University does not use third party web sites or personal blogs or personal social media platforms for official information dissemination.

The public is hereby warned, as the University will not be responsible for any financial or related losses as a result of this misrepresentation.

The University shall publish the Admission Timeline and Guideline for the 2017/2018 Admission Exercise through it’s Website (www.oauife.edu.ng) and other known reputable media channels.

All admission seekers are hereby warned to be wary of these fraudsters looking to rip unsuspecting victims off of their hard-earned money.
