Ridiculous Varsities Grades- Afe Babalola University reportedly graduated 11 students with 5.0 out of 5.0 cumulative

It’s a pity that the education standard in the country has truly fallen and teachers or schools deliberately awarding 5.0 cumulative grade point average to graduating students in the universities. This awful act is always masterminded by private universities. On Thursday, April 4, Afe Babalola University was reported in a national newspaper as having graduated 11 students with 5.0 out of 5.0 cumulative grade point average! That’s too ridiculous, as nobody can claim perfection and super standards not usually associated with mortals of this world, not just in ten, but all subjects taken throughout the years. They indeed got it cheap.

  1. Shoo! Na so e be? Chai I for register for that kin skl o, na 6.0 I for get! Ludicrous anomaly! Wait till the 11 step into the labour market or register for advanced degrees, air go blow, fowl yansh go open! Ke ke ke ke ke!!

  2. What is the meaning of this rubbish you bloggers are posting? I am a student of ABUAD. The university is barely 3yrs+ old..It hasnt even graduated any set of students. In fact if it has graduTED, WILL IT BE IN APRIL? wont it be later in the year…those students were only awarded for good academic performance, 9 of which were 200L Medicine students for their good performance in their 100L which is quite easy to get a 5.0 in as compared to other levels. In fact, there was no final year student with a 5.0 C.G.P.A. Pls in the quest to get money, u journalists should have conscience nurtured by truth.

    1. Well, if you look at the title carefully and read the post, you wouldn’t have written our reply like this. It’s obvious you didn’t even read the article before you replied to it. It was clearly shown that it’s a message from one of our readers and I wonder why you couldn’t see that.

  3. and why didn’t you bother confirming the news before posting it? is it nit in your hunger to post news that would make headlines…unfortunately..therenwas no headline.

    1. It’s sad you are only seeing things the way you are doing now. I want to put it to you, if Punch or Vanguard interviews a gang of Armed robbers and they tell them their story. In their story, they name someone like Wale Adenuga as their Godfather, do they have to confirm from Wale Adenuga before they publish the news?

All they would do is write it in such a way to point out they are quoting those armed robbers. It is now left to Wale Adenuga to give a counter statement. That’s the way it works in the real world, I’m sorry if you are not happy with it.
