UNILORIN Post UTME/DE Screening 2023/2024 Guide

University of Ilorin (UNILORIN),commence its Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening process for the 2023/2024 academic year.

UNILORIN Post UTMEEligibility and Admission Criteria

• Eligibility Criteria: Only candidates who chose UNILORIN as their first choice in the 2023/2024 UTME and scored 180 and above are eligible for the screening exercise.
• Admission Aggregate: Admission will be based on an aggregate of UTME/DE score (50%); Post-UTME screening score (30%); and five (5) relevant O’ Level grades (20%).

How to Apply for UNILORIN Post UTME/Direct Entry

1. Registration Period: From 23^rdNovember to 31st January 2024.
2. Uploading O’ Level/A’ Level Results: Candidates should upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results on the JAMB CAPS. Those awaiting results should indicate ‘AR’.
3. Personal Email and Phone Number: Ensure you use a personal, valid, and active email address and phone number for the registration process.
4. Registration Fee: A non-refundable fee of NGN 2,000.00 is applicable.
5. Application Portal: Visit UNILORIN’s Official Portal or click on Post-UTMERegistration on the main website.
6. Details Entry and Verification: Enter your JAMB Registration Number, surname, and other required details for verification.
7. Payment Method: Proceed to the Remita platform for payment, which can be completed via card, transfer, USSD, bank, or QR code.
8. Confirmation and Validation: After payment, confirm and validate your payment using your JAMBregistration number.
9. Account Activation: Activate your account with the activation code sent to your email.
10. Form Completion: Log in with your credentials, fill in the application form accurately, and submit.

Direct Entry Candidates

• Additional Steps: DE candidates must select their highest academic qualification and enter their results carefully, as any error might lead to disqualification.

Application Deadline

Make sure to complete and submit your application before the deadline. Late submissions will not be processed.

Note: Candidates should also acquaint themselves with the University’s dress code.
