Poor May/Jun Results Makes WAEC Consider Extending Nov/Dec Registration

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) are considering extending the closing date for the registration for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private in other to give candidates that did not make at least 5 Credits in core subject at the 2016 May/June WAEC a chance to re write the exams as private candidates.

WAEC May Extend 2016 Nov/Dec Closing Date

The WAEC application closing date was scheduled to have closed July 29, 2016, but it was further extended to close Friday, 19th August, 2016. It seems another extension period has come which could run for 11 days starting from Monday August 15, to Friday August 26, 2016.

Statistics show that 52.97 per cent have credit passes in at least 5 subjects, including maths and English language. Candidates that fall into this category should Register for the Nov/Dec Examination.
