2015 BU Dean’s Scholarships for International Students in UK
Applications are ongoing for the 2015 BU Dean’s Scholarships for International Students in UK. Bournemouth University is awarding up to 45 dean scholarships for international students to pursue full-time taught postgraduate courses. Scholarship includes 50% fee reduction.
Business School is offering following types of Dean scholarships:
- • Business School Dean’s Scholarship (international): Any students from Russia, Turkey, Nigeria, China, India, and South Korea applying for to study within the Business School.
• Business School Dean’s ASEAN Scholarship: If you are from an ASEAN nation and studying a business course, you may be eligible for this scholarship.
• The Business School Dean’s MBA Scholarship (international): Students from certain countries studying an MBA can apply for this scholarship.
• BU Deans Scholarship – The Media School (International): The Postgraduate BU Dean’s Scholarship – The Media School for international students is designed to recognise outstanding academic achievement.
• BU Dean’s Scholarship – School of Tourism (International): This scholarship is available for full-time taught postgraduate courses in the School of Tourism and the awards are split between international and UK/EU students.
• BU Dean’s Scholarship (International) – Faculty of Science & Technology: This scholarship is available for full-time taught postgraduate courses in the Faculty of Science & Technology.
• BU Dean’s Scholarship –School of Health & Social Care: This scholarship is available for full-time taught postgraduate courses in the School of Health & Social Care.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded to study within the Business School, Media School, School of Tourism, Faculty of Science & Technology and in the School of Health & Social Care.
Scholarship Value
These Dean Scholarships include 50% fee reduction. Up to 45 Dean scholarships are offered for courses starting September 2015 and January 2016.
Selection Criteria: When you apply, you need to demonstrate an outstanding academic record in relation to your chosen course and hold a minimum of a UK upper second class honours (2i) degree, or an overseas equivalent.
Notification: if you’re successful, you’ll be notified within one month of the closing date for applications.
Eligibility
- • Applicants cannot be in receipt of any other BU scholarships.
• Students classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes are eligible to apply for the 50% award for international scholarships.
Eligible Countries
Students from Russia, Turkey, Nigeria, China, India, and South Korea for The Business School Dean’s Scholarship (International), ASEAN nations (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Lao PDR and Brunei Darussalam). Business School Dean’s ASEAN Scholarship and other overseas and UK/EU students for other scholarships can apply for these scholarships.
Application Procedure and Deadline
Applications should be submitted by post and electronically. The application deadline is 31 May 2015.
