ABU Matriculation Ceremony Programme 2015/2016 Announced

Ahmadu Bello University, ABU has announced the date for the 2015/2016 matriculation ceremony. The full programme for the Matrix ceremony has also been released. All newly admitted students as well as their parents/guardians, well wishers and the entire member of the general public are hereby informed.

Details of ABU Zaria Matriculation Ceremony – 2015/16

The matriculation ceremony is meant to officially usher in the new students that have just been offered provisional undergraduate admission into the institution and it not until this takes place that the student can be a bonafide member of the ABU community.

It is also customary that no student will be issued a matriculation number until the matriculation ceremony of the institution takes place. Below is the date of the ceremony.

For those freshers that might not know,  ABU, Zaria was established in 1962 by the Government of the then Northern Region of Nigeria. The University was taken over by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 1975 and has since then assumed a national mandate although its ties with the 19 states created out of the former Northern Region remain very strong.

The University consists of eighty-two (82) Academic Departments, twelve (12) Faculties, and twelve (12) Research Institutes and Specialized Centres

ABU 2015/2016 Matriculation Ceremony Schedule

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) matric ceremony has been scheduled as below:

Date: 12th January 2016.

Venue: Kwantagora Square (near Senate building).

Time: 10:am
