Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) invites qualified candidates to apply for its JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board) program. This 10-month course offers students a direct pathway into the 200-level program at AE-FUNAI and over 90 other universities in Nigeria and abroad.

What is the AE-FUNAI JUPEB Program?

The AE-FUNAI JUPEB program is a two-semester (10-month) academic program run by the university’s Centre for Educational Services. Since its launch in 2014, it has consistently helped students transition smoothly into 200-level degree programs through the Direct Entry program. The JUPEB certificate is recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and accepted by universities in Nigeria and abroad.

Who Can Apply for the AE-FUNAI JUPEB Form?

To qualify, applicants must:

Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics
Credits must come from WAEC, NECO, or GCE
The five required credits should not exceed two sittings

Duration of AE-FUNAI JUPEB Program

The program runs for two semesters (approximately 10 calendar months).
It concludes with the official JUPEB exam.
Successful candidates can apply for Direct Entry admission into the 200-level.

How to Apply for AE-FUNAI JUPEB Program 2025

Application Fee:

₦15,000 (non-refundable)

Steps to Apply:

Visit the AE-FUNAI JUPEB application portal
Generate an invoice and Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
Pay via ATM card or at any Nigerian bank
Return to the portal and complete your application
Upload the following:
- Recent passport photo (white background; write full name on back)
Print the completed form for your records
Email a copy to yourself and keep your application number safe
