Ajayi Crowther University Theology and Religious studies Admission Form Out – 2015/2016

The Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo is owned by the church of Nigeria Anglican Communion. It has the departments of Theology and Religious studies which is accredited by the National University Commission. It offers degrees in Christian studies, Religious studies and theology.

As part of its contribution to the church, the University has approved the payment of concessional fees to Priests of the Anglican Church who wish to study in the Department of Theology.

The University still has admission vacancies for students who wish to join 2015/2016 session commencing latest 15th January, 2016.

Priests who possess the following qualifications can apply for admission into Direct Entry Programmes.

  • Diploma in Theology
  • Diploma in Religious Studies
  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline

Candidates in addition to above qualifications should possess 5 credit passes, including Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) and English Language.

All theological colleges in the Nigeria are encouraged to advertise this opportunity to their past and current students.

Application Procedures

  1. Applicants should visit the University website: www.acu.edu.ng/admissions
  2. A copy of the application form should be sent to the Vice-Chancellor’s e-mail: [email protected]
  3. Candidates who are not able to commence admission this January can apply for the next session commencing from September 2016. Such candidates should purchase and fill the Jamb Direct Entry form which is currently on sale.

Whereas the normal fees in ACU ranges from N400,000 to N470,000. Students undertaking degree programmes in theology will pay N150,000 (One hundred and fifty thousand naira) only per session.
