AKSU Undergraduates Drown In Lake During Picnic
Two year one undergraduates of the Akwa Ibom State University drowned in a lake along Uyo/Ikot Abasi road.
It was gathered that Daniel, a student of Civil Engineering and Ibiye Duke Nicholas Silas of Marine Engineering department whom their matriculation comes up this Friday went into a lake at Equa during a picnic with their fellow students but they did not come up out of the lake again.
Efforts are ongoing by their colleagues and the University medical team to recover their bodies.
This makes it the 6th death of Akwa Ibom State University Undergraduates within two months of this semester. Remember them in your prayers today.
