Al-Hikmah University Igbaja Campus Set For NUC Accreditation
In a bid to secure the National University Commission (NUC) benchmark for some Educational programmes in Igbaja of Al-Hikmah University, the Dean, College of Education, Prof. Durosaro and Head of Departments in collaboration with the Management, Al-Hikmah University, have provided all requirements for the forth-coming accreditation exercise.
This was disclosed by the Head of Department, English Language Education. Dr. Waheed Raji on Thursday, while briefing reporters.
According to him, the lecture rooms are in order and there are enough equipment and gadgets in the Laboratory and ICT Centre, while the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is also in place in the Department of Science Education.
Dr. Raji added that the University Management has purchased sufficient books and the staff ratio of 20:35:40 for Professors, Senior Lecturers and other cadres of academic staff have been met.
He therefore expressed his gratitude to the Director of Academic Planning Unit, Professor T.O. Sunmonu, for assisting the College getting well prepared for the accreditation.
It should also be known that the University Postgraduate school has recently been approved by NUC.
