The management of Arthur Jarvis University (AJU), Akpabuyo, Cross Rivers State, has released the academic calendar for the 2019/2020 academic session. All students of the school are hereby informed.

| 1. | Friday, 25th Oct., 2019. | Arrival of fresh students. | All 2019/2020 newly admitted Students are required to be on campus for academic activities. |
| 2. | Monday, 28th Oct., 2019. | Registration begin for the fresh Students. | All 2019/2020 newly admitted students are required to begin their Faculty, Departmental and GSS registrations. Time-table cards must be submitted to the respective course Lecturers for signing. |
| 3. | Wednesday, 30th Oct., – Friday, 1st Nov., 2019. | Orientation period for the fresh Students. | All 2019/2020 newly admitted students are required to be at the University’s Multi-purpose Hall for the orientation exercise. |
| 4. | Friday, 1st Nov., 2019. | Arrival of all returning students. | All old students of the University are required to be on campus for academic activities. Otherwise, the late resumption fee applies. |
| 5. | Monday, 4th Nov., 2019. | • Registration begins for the returning Students. | • All old students of the University are required to begin their Faculty, Departmental and GSS registrations. Time-table cards must be submitted to the respective course Lecturers for signing. |
| • Lectures begin for all students. | • All students of the University are compulsorily required to attend classes with a copy of their signed time-table card. | ||
| 6. | Friday, 22nd Nov., 2019. | End of registrations for all Students. | Regular registrations end for all Students of the University. |
| 7. | Monday, 25th Nov., 2019. | Late Registrations begin for all Students. | Registration continues for all students who missed the regular registration exercise. |
| 9. | Friday, 6th Dec., 2019 | Registrations end for all students. | End of all registration exercise for the Semester. Only duly registered students will be shortlisted for examinations. |
| 10. | Friday, 20th Dec., 2019 | Christmas/New Year holidays begin for all students. | All students are required to vacate the University campus for the Christmas/New Year holidays. |
| 11. | Friday, 10th Jan., 2020. | All students (new and old) return back to campus. | All students are required to resume for a continuation of academic activities. |
| 12. | Friday, 13th Jan., 2020. | Lectures resume after the Christmas/New Year holidays. | All students are compulsorily required to resume lectures as usual. |
| 13. | Friday, 6th Mar., 2020. | End of Lectures for all Students. | lectures end for the Semester. |
| 14. | Saturday, 7th Mar., 2020. | Matriculation??? | All 2019/2020 newly admitted Students are required to fulfill all requirements and be properly kitted for the Matriculation exercise. |
| 15. | Monday, 9th – Friday, 13 Mar., 2020. | Revision. | Prior to examinations for the Semester, academic staff are required to revise all class work with their students. |
| 16. | Monday, 16th Mar., 2020. | Examinations begin. | All qualified students of the University are administered examinations appropriately. |
| 17. | Friday, 27th Mar., 2020. | End of Examinations. | All students vacate the University campus. |
