The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has declared a nationwide strike which is scheduled to begin today, Monday 14th, February, 2022.

ASUU Commences Nationwide Strike
The new announced this at a news conference which held yesterday. They implied that the commencement of the strike is coerce the federal government to meet its demands. The President of the Union, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke mentioned that the industrial action would last for an initial period of four weeks- a month.
