ASUU Signs MoU With FG, May Call Off Strike Next Week

The latest news on ASUU strike 2013 is that ASUU may call off the ongoing strike next week as the leadership of union signs MoU with the Federal Government. This is the latest news coming from the meeting ASUU held with the Federal Government.

Following the withdrawal of the ultimatum given to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU  and the confirmation of payment of N200bn by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, the federal government and the Union, Wednesday, signed a memorandum of understanding, MoU,  in Abuja.

Vanguard gathered that, the strike may be called off next week when ASUU will  present the MoU to its National Executive meeting, NEC.
