Superintendent Cadre
- Superintendent of Corrections (Medical Doctors) – NCOS only
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent
- Salary Grade: CONMESS 02
- Assistant Superintendent I – FFS only
- Qualification: Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Water, Chemical) or Law (LL.B, LLM)
- Salary Grade: CONPASS 09
- Assistant Superintendent II – Available in NIS, FFS, NSCDC
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or HND
- Salary Grade: CONPASS 08
Inspectorate Cadre
- Inspector – For NCOS, FFS, NSCDC
- Qualification: Registered Nurse/Midwife or both
- Salary Grade: CONHESS 06
- Assistant Inspector
- Qualification: NCE or National Diploma
- Salary Grade: CONPASS 06
Assistant Cadre
- Assistant II – General Duty
- Qualification: Five credits in O’Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE) including English and Mathematics (max. two sittings) OR Trade Test Certificate (Grade II) in technical trades.
- Salary Grade: CONPASS 04
- Assistant III – Drivers, Operators, Artisans
- Qualification: Four O’Level credits OR Trade Test Certificate (Grade III)
- Salary Grade: CONPASS 03
General Eligibility Criteria for CDCFIB Job Recruitment

- 🇳🇬 Nationality: Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Education: Must possess the required academic and professional qualifications
- Mental/Physical Fitness: Must be certified fit by a government hospital
- Character: No prior convictions, drug use, cultism, or fraud records
- Age: 18 to 35 years
- Height: Minimum 1.65m (men), 1.60m (women)
- Chest Measurement (Men): Minimum 0.87m
