Hezekiah University (Unihez) invites applications from eligible candidates for admission as pioneer students for the 2015/2016 academic session. Below are the important details concerning the screening exercise.

Eligibility

For UTME Applicants

Applicants who have sat for the University Matriculation Examination (UME)and the UNIHEZ Aptitude Testmay be admitted into the first year degree programme if:

They attain the approved UME and UNIHEZ minimum scores which shall normally not be less than fifty percent of maximum possible scores

By the first of October of the year of admission they possess at least one of the following qualifications. The Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) or the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) or equivalent certificate with credit level passes in at least five subjects, including English Language obtained in one or two sitting. The Teachers’ Grade two Certificate with credit or merit passes in at least five subjects, including English Language

They satisfy the Faculty/Department entry requirements for the programme of their choice as approved by Senate.

For Direct Entry Applicants

The Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) or the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) or equivalent certificate with credit level passes in at least five subjects, including English Language obtained in one or two sitting.
They satisfy the Faculty/Department entry requirements for the programme of their choice as approved by Senate.
ii. Posses at least one of the following qualifications:
2 (two) subjects passed at the advanced or principal level of GCE/HSC.
Passes at the credit/merit level in at least two major subjects in the NCE;
A minimum of a lower credit pass at the ND in the relevant discipline;
A first university degree or HND or its equivalent;
Any other qualification acceptable to Senate

UNIHEZ Post Utme 2015 Screening Schedule

Admission exercise includes a post-UTME aptitude test in the following States and centres:

• Enugu State (Enugu),
• Abia State (Umuahia),
• Abuja FCT, Lagos State (Yaba),
• Rivers State (Port-Harcourt) and in the University Campus in Umudi, Imo State.
