When is the next ASUU meeting with the Federal Government (FG)? This is the question we woke up to get on Twitter and our email box this morning after we informed our readers about the outcome of the meeting between ASUU and FG which took place on Tuesday 13th August, 2013.
For those that wants to know when the next ASUU and FG (Ministers, Governor Suswam, etc.) will take place, another meeting has been scheduled for Monday 19th August, 2013.
The chairman of the ASUU negotiations meeting, Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State confirmed this after the meeting with ASUU. He said and we quote:
“Well the meeting continues next week Monday. We made some progress; we had very fruitful discussion with ASUU.
“We have agreed we are to meet again on Monday at about three o’clock. When we meet again we will be able to arrive at some decisions.’’
Now that we all know when they (ASUU and FG) meet again, let us all wait until then again to see the outcome. This time however, the Minister of Finance will be joining the meeting. This is coming after she announced that “FG Has No Resources To Meet ASUU’s Demands”.
