Delta State Poly Ozoro ND & HND [Weekend] Forms 2019/2020 Out

The management of Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro have announced the sale of admission forms into her weekend National Diploma and Higher National Diploma for the 2019/2020 academic session. interested members of the public are hereby informed.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the underlisted Courses of the Weekend Programme of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro for the 2019/2020 Academic year.

A. NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) COURSES

The National Diploma (ND) courses of three (3) years duration are available by direct admission in the following:

1. School of Business Studies

1. Accountancy (ii)
2. Banking & Finance (iii)
3. Business Administration (iv)
4. Mass Communication (v)
5. Marketing (vi)
6. Office Technology & Management

2. School of Science & Technology

1. Computer Science (ii)
2. Science Laboratory Technology (iii)
3. Statistics

B. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) COURSES

The Higher National Diploma Courses of a minimum of three (3) years duration are also available by direct admission in the following:

4. Office Technology & Management

(i) Computer Science

Eligibility for Delta Poly Ozoro Weekend Programmes

(i) National Diploma (ND) Courses

 Candidates applying for admission into the National Diploma (ND) courses must possess five credit passes in the relevant subjects in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB which must include English Language and Mathematics. Other relevant subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, Government, Geography, Commerce, Accounts etc.

(ii) Higher National Diploma (HND) Courses

Candidates for any of the Higher National Diploma (HND) courses listed above must possess the National Diploma (ND) of the Polytechnic with a minimum of lower credit or an equivalent qualification from other similar institutions whose courses have earned NBTE Accreditation. However, for HND Business Administration, only ND in Business Administration or Marketing is acceptable.

Similarly, for HND Computer Science, ND Computer Science, Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) with a major in Computer Education, not below merit level grade and CPEI of Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN) with at least lower credit grade are acceptable. In addition, candidates must have satisfied the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro Matriculation requirements for the National Diploma Courses and must have at least one year Post-National Diploma (ND) Industrial Experience.

Evidence of relevant one-year Post-ND Industrial Experience and academic transcript(s) from the candidate’s institution must be submitted along with the application for the Higher National Diploma admission.

How To Apply

(i) The Applications Fee for all candidates is N10,000.00 (ten thousand naira only). All interested candidates should log on to dspz.mycportal.com and click on Online Application, then click on Start a New Application.

(ii) Fill in your personal data and select Programme Type, School, Department and Programme for both first and second choice course. Note: Under Programme type: select National Diploma or Higher National Diploma (Weekend Programme). Under Department, select department of your choosing (E.g. National Diploma Marketing II)

(iii) Click on “Pay With Card” to make application fee payment with either Verve or Master Card InterSwitch enable card. An Application Number will be generated after a successful payment and Reference Number will be sent to the specified “Email Address”.
