The Federal Government of Nigeria, on Friday, declared Thursday, January 24, as public holiday to commemorate the Muslim festival of Eid-El-Maulud to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The Minister of Interior, Mr Abba Moro, made the pronouncement in Abuja, in a statement signed by Mr Adetayo Sode, the Director of Citizenship and Business in the ministry.
We at www.ngscholars.net also use this opportunity to wish our Muslim brothers and sisters Happy Eid-el-Maulud and pray peace and unity in Nigeria.
God bless Nigeria!
