FCET Degree Year 3 Students Commence Teaching Practice
Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze, FCET degree year 3 students commenced their teaching practice. The students went ahead on their teaching practice after their orientation programme which held on Monday, 9th May, 2016. The purpose of this teaching practice for students is to enable them gather workplace experience as teachers prior to the completion of their programmes at the College of Education.
Teaching practice is an integral component of teacher training and thus requires proper implementation. This is the reason for the mandatory orientation programme held for the prospective student teachers. It grants student teachers experience in the actual teaching and learning environment.
The FCET degree Year 3 Students have spread out to make something out of the Teaching Practice and hopefully learn a lot.
