FUTA Proceeds On Mid-Semester Break

The Federal University of Technology, Akure FUTA, has proceeded on a 3-day mid semester break following approval by the school Vice Chancellor. All students of the university are hereby informed and hence are not expected to be seen around the school hostel for the period of this break. Details below.

The Senate of FUTA at its 265th Statutory Meeting approved that the Mid-Semester break for Second Semester 2015/2016 Academic Session should take effect from Thursday, 26th May, 2016 to Sunday, 29th May, 2016. Lectures will therefore resume for the remaining part of the Semester on Monday, 30th May, 2016.

The circular that was directed to all students emanated from the office of the Registrar via Senate Matters and Admissions Officer On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adebiyi G. Daramola and the University Management.

All essential services to the hostels shall be put on hold for the period of the break.
