FUTA Registration Procedure 2019/2020 Freshers & Returning Students

FUTA registration procedure/guide for both freshers and Returning students for the 2019/2020 academic session has been released.

The management of Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) made this public on the school’s undergraduate students portal. All students are to take note of this development.

All students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure are hereby advised to begin their registration for the new session in earnest. The steps outlined below will guide you to successfully complete your registration.

FUTA Registration Procedure for Freshmen and Returning Students for 2019/2020 Academic Session

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Akure has released the guidelines to be followed by students of the institution to aid them in their semester registration process. Below are the guidelines as released on the FUTA official website.

Step 1 [How do I login?]

  • Login with your JAMB Registration No.[Fresh Students Only] OR Matric Number as Username and your Surname (in CAPITAL OR UPPERCASE) as Password
  • You will be required to supply your valid Email Address and Phone Number and change your password before you can proceed
  • In case you forgot your password, click on the forgot password link “Get it Here” and supply your JAMB Registration OR Matric Number, your Registered Email address and Phone Number and your new password and click on send to reset your password and send to your registered Phone Number and Email Address

Step 2 [Student Biodata]

    • Click on Student Biodata

For Fresh Students

      • It is compulsory that you fill all the sections accordingly. Under the Upload section, you will be required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents:
        • Passport(not more than 1 month old), Birth Certificate, Certificate of Local Goverment of Origin, Court Affitdavit, Attestation Letter, Jamb Admission Letter, Olevel Result(s), NCE/ND/HND if Direct Entry
      • click on “Finalize and Preview Biodata Registration” under the Finalize section
      • After clicking on Finalize, your olevel results that you have supplied will be screened and if you passed, you will be instructed to generate invoice here and go to any of the bank listed on your invoice any pay your school fee on ETranzact Platform only, otherwise contact the Live Chat below for assistance.
      • Please Note: You will not be able to generate school invoice and make payment at the bank if you fail to complete these sections appropriately and pass the online screening

For Returning Students

    • It is compulsory that you review and fill all the sections accordingly where necessary. Under the Upload section, you will be required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents if not available [Sorry for the stress, its just this time]
      • Passport(not more than 1 month old), Birth Certificate, Certificate of Local Goverment of Origin, Court Affitdavit, Attestation Letter, Jamb Admission Letter, Olevel Result(s), NCE/ND/HND if Direct Entry
    • click on “Finalize and Preview Biodata Registration” under the Finalize section
    • After clicking on Finalize, you will be allowed to generate school fee invoice and make payment at the bank
    • Please Note: You will not be able to generate school invoice and make payment at the bank if you fail to complete these sections appropriately.

Step 3 [Payment]

  • Click on Payment
  • Your payment due will be available as Debit under Student Ledger
  • To make any payment, you have to select the payment, generate invoice from which your TRANSACTION ID will be made available
  • Present the TRANSACTION ID on the Invoice at any of the Banks listed on your invoice and make the payment on ETRAZACT PLATFORM ONLY
  • You have to confirm your payment under the Confirm Payment Section and Print your Official Receipt

Step 4 [Accommodation (OPTIONAL)]

  • Click on Accommodation
  • To be eligible for accommodation application, you must have paid and confirmed your SCHOOL FEE
  • Read the Hall Regulations and tick/check “I agree …”
  • Select the hall of your choice and click on APPLY NOW and await SMS for offer of Accommodation if offered
  • Please Note: For Students whose Phone Number is on DND, the SENDER ID for the offer of Accommodation will come as rUpdate and for those not on DND, it will come as FUTA ACMDATN
  • Follow the rest of the instructions afterwards to complete your Accommodation process

Step 5 [Course Registration]

  • Click on Course Registration
  • To be eligible for course registration, you must have paid and confirmed your SCHOOL FEE
  • For Fresh Students, your courses will be displayed for you to select appropriately, submit , print and present to your your Level Registration Office for approval
  • For Returning Students, your courses will be displayed for you submit , print and present to your your Level Registration Office for approval
  • After approval, your must print another copies, present them for endorsement and submit at your department.

Registration Deadlines

2019/2020 1st Semester Online Registration Commences From 13th – 26th January 2020. All students are expected to register within this time frame.

The NORMAL registration continues between Sunday, 26th January and Friday, 7th February, 2020.

LATE registration for all students will begin on Monday 10th February, 2020 and end on Monday, 24th February, 2020.

The University portal for this exercise will be closed by 12 midnight of Monday 24th February, 2020.
