Ghanaian Varsity Affiliate Programmes Illegal – NUC

National Universities Commission, NUC has outlawed a Ghanaian University named University of Education, Winneba, Ghana affiliate programmes with Hallmark Educational Bureau Nigeria Limited. This was reported by PunchNG Online and Nigeriams have been warned to stay away from the programmes.

The Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Prof. Julius Okojie, has warned Nigerians against undergoing degree programmes that the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, is offering under an affiliation with Hallmark Educational Bureau Nigeria Limited.

Okoje said the affiliation was illegal and that certificates awarded to its products would not be recognised in Nigeria.

Okojie’s position was contained in a Monday Memo bulletin, which the NUC produced after a three-man delegation from the Ghanaian university visited the commission.
