The Gombe School of Health Tech Kaltungo Admission Form for the 2025/2026 academic session is officially being sold.

The Gombe State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Kaltungo invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for various Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), and abridged programs in health-related disciplines.

Application forms will be available from Wednesday, 2nd April to Friday, 30th May 2025. Interested candidates must meet the relevant admission requirements and apply before the deadline.

List of Available Programs and Admission Requirements

Here are the approved programs and their entry qualifications:

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

1. PGD in Public Health Education and Promotion (PGD-PHEP)
   • Entry: BSc, MSc, or HND in a science-related discipline
   • O’Level: 5 credits in WAEC/NECO
   • Duration: 9 months

Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

1. HND Environmental Health Technology (HND-EHT)
   • Entry: ND in EHT, JAMB admission letter, SIWES completion evidence
   • ND must be from an NBTE-accredited institution
   • Duration: 2 years
2. HND Health Information Management (HND-HIM)
   • Entry: ND in HIM, JAMB letter, SIWES proof, NBTE-approved ND certificate
   • O’Level: 5 credits in science subjects
   • Duration: 2 years

Diploma and Technician Programmes

1. Pharmacy Technician (Diploma)
   • Entry: 5 credits in WAEC/NECO (science subjects)
   • Duration: 2 years
2. Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)
   • Entry: 5 credits in WAEC/NECO including science subjects
   • Duration: 3 years
3. Returning CHEW (R-CHEW)
   • Entry: JCHEW certificate
   • Duration: 2 years
4. Health Education and Promotion (HEP)
   • Entry: 5 credits in science subjects
   • Duration: 2 years
5. Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)
   • Entry: 3 credits and two passes in science subjects
   • Duration: 2 years

Abridged Programmes (1-Year Duration)

1. Abridged Environmental Health Technician (EVT)
   • Entry: EVT certificate
2. Abridged Health Information Management (HIT)
   • Entry: HIT certificate
3. Abridged Nutrition and Dietetics (OD-NUD)
   • Entry: OD-NUD certificate
4. Abridged Health Education and Promotion (HEP)
   • Entry: OD-HEP certificate

Entry Note for O’Level Candidates

All Gombe school of health tech Kaltungo Admission applicants must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in science subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics. These must be obtained in no more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
