IJMB / JUPEB 200 Level Direct Admission Without JAMB
IJMB is an acronym of Interim Joint Matriculation Board. It is an Approved, Proven & Certified Advanced level (A/Levels) programe moderated by Ahmadu Bello University and having coordinating body in various tertiary institutions and different study centres nationwide.
JUPEB is an acronym of Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board. It is approved, proven & certified by UNILAG and some other Nigerian Universities.
The programe is designed to provide opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to university at a particular year, students that could not register for utme, students that could not get up to the required cut-off mark in their utme or students that were not offered their desired course in the university.
The entry qualification into IJMB/JUPEB A-Level Programme is mainly Ordinary Level result (O’level) also, candidates that are still awaiting their result can also apply.
- IJMB & JUPEB is approved: By the Federal Government as a platform for securing admission into higher institution in the country and abroad.
- IJMB & JUPEB is Guaranteed: Yearly, about 20,000 applicants put in for the programme in which more than 70% of them successfully secure admission with it DIRECTLY to 200 level to their preferred institution & study their dream course.
- IJMB is certified: By Nigeria University Commission (NUC) as an Advanced level examination that qualify students DIRECTLY to 200level via Direct Entry.
HOW IT WORKS:
Prospective candidates are required to select any THREE (3) A/Levels (IJMB & JUPEB) Subject Combination identified with their preferred course of study in the university be it Science, Art or Social Science Course.
Candidates would then be lectured for the stipulated period at their Study Centre and thereafter write the final examination. On completion of the programe, successful candidates (over 90%) accordingly utilize their IJMB & JUPEB certificate to secure admission to 200level in any Nigeria tertiary institution via Direct Entry.
ELIGIBILITY:
IJMB & JUPEB certificate is recognized and accepted in more than 80% of Nigeria federal, state and private Universities. For more clarity and confirmation, prospective candidates can check ARTICLE 1.0.05(C) of JAMB BROCHURE to confirm its legibility.
PROGRAMME DURATION:
The programme runs for a period of one academic session (9-10month) which is divided into two (2) semesters. The IJMB examination is conducted February yearly while JUPEB Exam is conducted June yearly.
PROGRAMME ELIGIBILITY:
The programe is open to all interested candidates nationwide and any course can be offered be it Science, Art or Social Science.

IJMB/JUPEB REQUIREMENTS
The requirements and the basic entry qualification is your ordinary level (O/Level) result. Before anyone can apply for the programme, such student must have completed his/her secondary school education. However, candidate awaiting ordinary level result can also APPLY FOR THE PROGRAMME. Candidates who are rounding up secondary school can also apply for the programme.

IJMB & JUPEB can be attended by any interested and qualified candidates. By qualification, candidates must meet-up the basic requirements as stated ABOVE
