JAMB 2013 Update : JAMB to Involve 10,000 NSCDC Officers To Supervise JAMB UTME 2013 Exams

We can reliably inform you that about 10,000 men and officers of the Nigeria Security and Defence Corps (NSCDC) will be on invigilation for the JAMB UTME 2013 Examinations coming up on 27th April, 2013.

This piece of information was made known to news men by the Registrar and Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor ‘Dibu Ojerinde.

Dibu Ojerinde, who spoke in Abuja, however, announced the postponement of the Jamb Computer-Based Test (CBT) to 18th May, 2013. The CBT Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will hold after the conduct of Paper Pencil Test (PPT), and Dual Based Test (DBT) on Saturday,
27th April, 2013.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) board also gave the reason why the Jamb CBT 2013 examination was shifted, according to the board, this was done to avoid clash in examination dates with the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO).

Before the exam was postponed, the Computer-Based Test JAMB UTME 2013 was schedule to hold a week to April 27th as concluding date for 2013 UTME.

After a brief meeting with the officials from WAEC and NECO, it became very necessary for JAMB to hold the CBT in May to allow for ample seating arrangement for candidates who might be seating for both examinations.
