Commencement of Sales of Direct Entry Registration Form/Scratch Cards
Direct Entry scratch cards for registration for 2016/2017 admission are now on sale. The JAMB DE access scratch card will be sold in JAMB offices all over the country. It will also be available in major commercial banks across Nigeria.
Requirements for University Direct Entry Admission
A. Candidates must posses a minimum of five subjects passed at not more than two sittings with at least two at the Principal or Advanced level of the G.C.E. and the others, at credit level of the SSCE/GCE, NTC/NBC. No subject shall be counted at both Ordinary and Advanced levels.
B. Two passes at the IJMB Advanced Level Examination or Cambridge moderated Schools of Basic Studies Terminal Examination or Institute of Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with SSCE/GCE, NTS/NBC credits equivalent in three other subjects.
C. Passes in two major subjects in the NCE with S.S.C.E, NTC/NBC credits or equivalents in THREE other subjects (mainly for Education Courses). Education may be accepted as a third A’Level subject for those taking courses in Education.
How To Register for 2016 JAMB Direct Entry 2016/17
Go online to the DE registration portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/DirectEntry1/. On the left side of the screen, you would see an image – similar to the one in the above image. Click on it and get started with your registration.
Eligible candidates should visit the nearest participating banks, Zenith banks, Skye banks nationwide, etc and even Jamb offices nationwide and obtain the E-Registration scratch card at the rate of =N=5,000 only. Proceed to your nearest registration outlet or cafe to complete the form.
NOTE: JAMB Direct Entry DE is for candidates who posses A level, OND, HND or First Degree. It is not for UTME candidates. please take note.
