Just In: NBTE Scrap All Idah Poly Engineering Programmes

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has scrapped all Engineering courses at the Federal Polytechnic Idah. The Board took this action citing lack of adequate practical training for the students in the programme.

As a result of this latest development, there will be no admission into the Engineering programmes of the polytechnic for the 2015/2016 session and it likely might extend beyond this period if the management of the school takes no action on the issue.

So any prospective candidate that intends to apply for any of Federal Poly Idah’s Engineering programmes are hereby informed to choose another institution as the approval of such programme in the school has been rescinded.

The management of the polytechnic have yet to comment on this matter.
