Applications are invited from suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates for Admission into the School of Continuing Education, Kaduna State University (KASU), part-time degree programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.

KASU Part-Time Degree Entry Requirements

Applicants for Admission into the various programmes must satisfy the following conditions:

1. 100 Level Admission

• A minimum UTME Score the required cute off Mark in the JAMB (2023) examinations with the appropriate combinations regardless of the institution of the first choice.
• 5 relevant O’ Level credit passes (Including English and Mathematics) obtained in not more than 2 sittings, from any approved examination bodies.

2. Direct Entry Candidates (200 Level)

• Are expected to be mature candidates, aged not least 25 years as of January 2024.
• Possess recognized Advanced Level qualifications in areas relevant to the Programmes. Such qualifications include: General Certificate of Education (GCE), ‘A’ Leve 1, Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) certificate-(with a minimum of 6 points). National Diploma (ND), Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE), and any other equivalent and relevant qualification (s).
• Possess relevant O’ Level credit passes (Including English and Mathematics) obtained in not more than 2 sittings from any approved examination bodies.

3. 400 Level Admission

• Are expected to be mature candidates aged not least 25 years as of January, 2023.
• Possess recognized Advanced Level qualifications in areas relevant to the Programmes. Such qualifications include: General Certificate of Education (GCE), ‘A’ Leve 1, Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) certificate (with a minimum of 6 points), Third-Class Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND)- (with above Pass) and any other equivalent and relevant qualification (s). Possess relevant O’ Level credit passes (Including English and Mathematics) obtained in not more than 2 sittings from any approved examination bodies.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NEW COURSES

1. Direct Entry Candidates (200 Level)

• Are expected to be mature candidates, aged not least 25 years as at January, 2022.
• Possess recognized Advanced Level qualifications in areas relevant to the Programmes. Such qualifications include: General Certificate of Education (GCE), ‘A’ Leve 1, Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) certificate – (with minimum of 6 points). National Diploma (ND), Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE), and any other equivalent and relevant qualification (s).
• Possess relevant O’ Level credit passes (Including English and Mathematics) obtained in not more than 2 sittings from any approved examination bodies.

How to Apply for KASU Part-Time Degree Admission Form

Jamb registration: All applicants should log onto JAMB online application Platform for part time degree programme and select SCE KASU and follow the instructions including payment of a non-refundable fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira only (N3, 500:00) into the JAMB’S Account.

1. Go to KASU portal at https://forms.kasu.edu.ng.
2.  Click on register button and fill the required information.
3. Click on the link “proceed with payment” to generate your payment details.
