LASU Final Year Students Face 10 Years Imprisonment Over Examination Malpractice!

Two students of the Lagos State University (LASU), Bruno Aire Ehidiamen, 43 and David Onuche, 35 have being arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Lagos over allegations of examination malpractice.

It was reported that these two students have gone beyond the level of just cheating in the examination hall to stage where they forge LASU Documents and impersonate in order to carry out their acts of examination malpractice:

A 43-year-old LASU student and David Onuche, 35 years, were on Tuesday, 20th August, 2013 arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s court over alleged examination malpractice.

The Names of the suspects students of Lagos State University arraigned before Ikeja Magistrate’s High Court are Bruno Aire Ehidiamen, 43 and David Onuche, 35.

The defendants who were docked before Magistrate Eniola Fabamwo, are facing a four-count charge of conspiracy, examination malpractice, forgery and impersonation.

Examination malpractice is punishable with 10 years imprisonment under the criminal law.
The police prosecutor, ASP Police Barth Nwaokoye, told the court that the defendants committed the alleged offence on August 15, 2013 at about 4 pm at Agidingbi area of Ikeja, in Lagos.

He said the defendants conspired together to cheat and engage in examination malpractice.
Nwaokoye said with intent to cheat at the examination, the defendants forged Lagos State University, LASU, examination docket.
He also said that Onuche unlawfully assisted one Ehidiamen to write the LASU final year Faculty of Law examination.

The prosecutor claimed that Onuche impersonated by falsely representing himself as Bruno Aire Ehidiamen to write the examination.
According to the prosecutor, the offense committed is contrary to section 409 and punishable under section 378 (2) of the criminal laws of Lagos state of Nigeria 2011. However, when the charges were read to the defendants, they pleaded not guilty.

Magistrate Fabamwo granted the defendants bail in the sum of N200,000 each with two surties in like sum and adjourned the case to October 16, 2013.

Dis is y it is necesaary to b a born again,wen som one is a born again dis thought of cheatin wil neva cum in his heart rada he read instead of dependin on malpratice,bt is quite unfortunate afta spendin many yrs in d university u wud end up bein in jail it is nt bcoz of God bt bcoz of somfin dat is against d law of God,k now satan had send u to jail nd God had rejected u wat wil u do,its quite unfortunateo ok wat wil u teach ur studends if u go to serv tomorow everybody shud tink twice expo is nt evrytin nd can neva b,bt plz consider his parents plz nd giv him a second chance plzzzzzz.
