LASU Recalls Suspended Departmental Executives

The management of Lagos State University, LASU recalled suspended departmental executives of the department of History and International Studies. The students who were executives of the students society of history and international studies (SSOHIS) were suspended on grounds of organizing the unauthorised cum ill-fated party of the Association’s Award Night of Thursday, 11th February, 2016.

The Authority of Lagos State University has directed that the suspension of the following immediate past Executive Members of the Students’ Society of History and International Studies [SSOHIS], be lifted:

The University has also organized proper counselling sessions for the re-absorbed students in the University counselling unit upon their resumption in school. In addition, the University Management also approved the recommendation of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee that, the afore-listed Students, be warned in writing, in order to desist from acts of misconduct. All the Students have been requested to report to the Students’ Affairs Division [Counselling Unit] for proper counselling.

Other students should also learn from the case of the suspended departmental executives and make sure not to take any action that will contravene school rules and regulations.
