The list of items banned in Ajayi Crowther University Students’ Hostels has been released by the management of the school. The list was published on the University website for all students and parents/guardians to see.

All students of Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) are advised to check the “Prohibited/ Contraband Items in Students’ Hostels” before moving in to avoid any issues with the authorities. Below are the items that are prohibited in the school hostels.

  2. Cigarette
  3. Hard Drugs (Such as cocaine, heroin, and other illicit drugs)
  4. Alcoholic drinks
  5. Lethal weapons/ injections,
  6. Knives
  7. Guns and bullets
  8. Knockout/ fireworks of any kind
  9. Kerosene lamp, gas cooker, candles, matches and lighters
  10. Cooking utensils such as hotplates, rice cookers, toasters, microwaves, electric boiling rings, saucepans, blenders
  11. Hair dryers/ straighteners
  12. Refrigerators /grillers
  13. Any item meant for sale or business activities
  14. Raw food items
  15. Jeans
  16. Diabolic materials
  17. Television sets
  18. Ungodly musical tapes and CDs
  19. Video machines, tapes, VCD and DVD players
  20. TV cards, antennas
  21. Computer games(play stations)
  22. Weight/shot-put
  23. Condoms and contraceptives
  24. Tramadol
  25. Codeine

Other contraband items that may be specified or published from time to time.
