List of Shortlisted Candidates for PRESSID 2015/2016 is out

The full list of successful and shortlisted candidates for the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for Innovation and Development (PRESSID) 2015/2016 is out. The implementation committee in charge of the PRESSID – the National University Commission has announced the names of the successful candidates for the award of scholarships for the 2015/2016 edition of the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for Innovation and Development (PRESSID).

About The Program
As part of efforts to achieve the goals of Vision 20:2020 and the Transformation Agenda, the Federal Government of Nigeria plans to develop a critical mass of professionals who would serve as catalysts of change and agents of scientific and technological advancement, as well as sustainable economic development. This would be achieved through the sponsorship of outstanding students for postgraduate studies in the top 25 universities in the world. To this end, the Federal Government instituted the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for Innovation and Development.

• Candidates who made the list has been invited to the next stage of the selection process which is in form of a Computer based test (CBT).

• The Computer Based Test has been scheduled hold on as follow: Venues:

      • Abuja FCT [Venue would be communicated to candidates]

 

      • London UK [Venue would be communicated to candidates]

 

      • Washington DC, USA [Venue would be communicated to candidates]

Requirements
Candidates are advised to bring along the following listed documents along to the venue of the exam.

• Original copies of their credentials (WAEC, NYSC)
• Discharge certificate
• First degree
• Birth certificate, E.T.C

• Candidates who would prefer to take the aptitude test in any of the 2 designated centres outside Nigeria are to contact the secretariat immediately and indicate their preference to: [email protected] , [email protected]

N.B: The Implementation Committee would NOT be liable for transportation and/or accommodation of candidates to any of the designated test centres.
