MOUAU Postgraduate Courses – This is the list of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, (MOUAU) Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Masters (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses available for admission.

The Postgraduate School of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture (MOUAU) has released the list of programmes (courses) available for the 2018/2019 academic session.

Candidates for admission into the postgraduate programme are advised to go through the courses available for the 2018/2019 admission before applying.

Entry Requirement for M.Sc.

  1. Five O/level credit passes obtained in GCE ordinary level, SSCE or NECO in not more than two sittings with the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Agriculture or Biology or any other subject from Government/History/Civic education, Principles of Accounts, Christian Religious Knowledge, Geography and a B.Sc. degree in Agribusiness and Management with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on 5 points scale or 2.5 on 4 points scale from a recognized University in or outside Nigeria.
  2. Agric. Degree with a minimum CGPA as above

For Ph.D.

Same as in (1) and (2) above with a minimum CGPA of 4.00 on 5 points scale or 3.00 on a 4 points scale.

  1. Relevant degree from recognized university with CGPA not less than 3.00 on 5 point scale and 2.8 on 4 point scale,
  2. Minimum of one year industrial/administrative experience,
  3. candidates with PGD (Upper credit 3.5 upwards) maybe considered for the admission.

M.Sc.: is same as options (a) & (c) above, possession of MBA is an added advantage.

Ph.D.: is same as option (a) with CGPA of 4.00 (60%) on a five point scale and 3.5 (60%) on 4.00 scale, in a Masters Degree (M.Sc) from management related disciplines.
