2016 Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC Recruitment Has Commenced

The 2016 SSC and DSSC Recruitment into the Nigerian army has commenced. The Nigerian army has opened the application to the general public, both civilians and serving military personnel to apply for the Short Service Combatant (SSC) and Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) officers.

Applicants can only submit one application. Either Apply for SSC or DSSC. Applicants who submit more than one application WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

Entry Requirements For 2016  Nigerian Army SSC

All applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

(a) Be a Nigerian as defined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

(b) Be a male or female between the age of 24 and 29 years.

(c) Possess at least a first degree of not less than Second Class Lower Division or HND of not less than Lower Credit in the arts, sciences or humanities from any recognised University or Polytechnic as the case may be.

(d) Measure at least 1.68m in height.

(e) Be medically and physically fit.

(f) Applicants (less serving members of the Armed Forces) must possess the NYSC discharge certificate or a valid exemption as the case may be.

(g) Possess valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, 21 hospital or local government council of birth or valid age declaration.

(h) Possess a valid certificate of state of origin.

(i) Must not have been convicted by any competent court of law.

(j) Be recommended by at least 2 recognisable referees who must attest to the applicant’s character and integrity. Serving military personnel must be recommended by their commanding officers.

Entry Requirements For 2016 Nigerian Army DSSC

(a) Be a Nigerian as defined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

(b) Be male or female between the ages of 22 to 35 years for both serving personnel and civilians.

(c) Be medically and physically fit.

(d) Measure not less than 1.68m (for male) and 1.65m (for female) in height.

(e) Must not have been convicted by any court of law.

(f) Possess a minimum of first degree of not less than Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University or HND from a recognized Polytechnic of not less than Lower Credit.

(g) Applicants (less serving members of the Armed Forces) must have completed the NYSC Scheme or provide proof of exemption as the case may be.

(h) Graduates with professional qualifications must be duly registered by relevant bodies recognized by Nigerian Laws at the commencement of cadet training

(i) Possess valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital or Local Government Council of birth or valid age declaration.

(j) Possess a valid certificate of state of origin.

(k) Recommended by at least two recognizable referees who must attest to the applicant’s character and integrity. Serving military personnel must be recommended by their commanders.

How To Apply For 2016 Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC

To apply for the Nigerian army SSC and DSSC, follow this order

(1) Log on to www.nigerianarmyms.ng

(2) Read the Qualification Criteria.

(3) From the Home Page, Select DSSC or SSC application type. Ensure you choose the right application type from the home page.

(4) Click on ‘Register’ above to fill the registration form.
NOTE: REGISTRATION IS TO BE DONE ONCE. IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED BEFORE JUST LOGIN TO CONTINUE FILLING YOUR FORM.

(5) On successful registration, you will receive a success email notification from ‘The Nigerian Army‘.

(6) Click on the ‘Login’ tab to login, then you can fill in the forms.

(7) Add your profile (This will require a passport photo and your biodata).

(8) Add your qualifications (WASSCE, and other certificates are entered here).

(9) Upload/Edit supporting Documents (Attach your Certificates here).
THE NEXT OPTION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL ALL ABOVE STEPS HAVE BEEN TAKEN.

(10) Print your photo cards.The first page is to be signed by a Court of law while the second page is to be signed by the Chairman/Secretary of your Local Government or any military officer of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and above or equivalent who hails from your State of Origin.
