OAU has announced the resumption date for the 2015/2016 academic session. All new and returning students of the institution are hereby informed.
This is to notify the General Public, particularly all Obafemi Awolowo University Students and Staff that the Senate of the University has approved the resumption of academic activities. Lectures are expected to commence January 11th, 2016.
Students are expected to arrive campus on January 10th, 2016.
It would be recalled that the institution was shut down after an emergency meeting of Senate following students’ protest over epileptic power supply, unavailability of portable water supply in their halls of residence and alleged poor funding of education in Nigeria.
