Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun Admission Fraud Alert

They are everywhere! I’ve seen posts regarding JAMNB UTME results asking UTME Candidates who scored low in their exams to contact them and they will help them upgrade. JAMB has come out to make it clear that it is fraud and many people are aware of that. Now they have gone into admission scamming. The latest fraud alert is coming from Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun.

Here it goes:

The attention of the Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun Management has been drawn to various postings on www.topix.com and www.ossceilaorangunnigeria.wapka.mobi forum requesting unsuspecting public to call certain phone numbers to check the admission list and for further possible assistance on admission.

The authorities of the College hereby declare that they dissociate themselves from the arrangements and implore the general public to be wary of antics of internet fraudsters. All information regarding admission into the college can be accessed through www.ossceila.edu.ng and NOBODY WILL ASK CANDIDATES TO PHONE HIM/HER OR PAY ANY MONEY INTO A PRIVATE ACCOUNT.

For emphasis, all payment for admission are through banks and in favour of “OSUN STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, ILA-ORANGUN.

The general public should therefore beware of all forms of internet fraud as they are calculated to deceive and defraud them. Security agencies have been duly informed of this development
