In keeping with transparency, accountability, and fair hearing, he pointed out that officials assigned to the exercise have been instructed to make sure that all applicants who have been shortlisted are permitted to participate and to recommend whether they are suitable or not using the Act’s already-established benchmarks.

The Commandant reiterated that the automated physical screening process is completely free of charge but cautioned applicants to be on the lookout for criminal elements who might try to exploit it unfairly in order to commit fraud. He did, however, issue a warning that anyone found to be lacking will be subjected to the full force of the law.
