Redeemers University wins Seeding Labs instrumental access grant. The Redeemer’s University and other 15 universities from 11 countries and among the six that from west and central africa won the awards which were the culmination of a rigorous screening and selection process among 67 research-based universities in the developing world.
The selected universities have inspiring goal to advance cutting-edge research, expanding training opportunities for students with potential for building infrastructure that is critical to advancing human development.

The Department of Chemical Sciences needs equipment to improve chemistry teaching for undergraduates, as well as lay the foundation for graduate programs that will be launched over the next few years. Equipment will also enable faculty members to conduct research at the University without traveling abroad.
The Department of Chemical Sciences at Redeemers University won the Seeding Lab Instrumental Access Grant 2016 and strives to educate a future generation of creative, innovative, and inventive entrepreneurs motivated to build and sustain a better Nigeria and a better world. This announcement of the 2016 Instrumental Access Awardees was made recently in an event organized by Seeding Labs which took place in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Speaking at the event, the founder and Chief Executive of Seeding Labs, Dr. Nina Dudnik, stated that the 16 universities that emerged in this year’s seeding lab access grant are home to some of the most talented global scientists in the developing world. Under the programme, Seeding Labs’ will acquire, package and transfer selected equipment to the Department of Chemical Sciences at the College of Natural Sciences in Redeemer’s University under the coordination of Dr. Emmanuel Unuabonah.
