Salem University Online Course Registration Guide

This post will particularly be very useful to students of Salem University, Lokoja who need to register their courses online. This is serving as the University Online course guide for registering students for the ongoing session. All students need to register their courses online before the deadline and this guide will be instrumental in showing you how to do so without the common glitches encountered by students during the process.

All students, in the course of a semester have to register their courses for that semester. This sometimes goes wrong as some students will somehow get the procedure wrong and at the end of the day, waste precious time and resources to rectify any errors made in the registration process. In the wake of the advancement of science and technology in recent times, institutions no longer use the old method of manual registration and have adopted the online registration for students.

GUIDE TO ONLINE COURSE REGISTRATION

The following steps are required for online course registration via the University portal:

  1. Visit http://portal.salemuniversity.edu.ng
  2. Login with your Matriculation number, e.g SU13101010 and “password” as Password.
  3. Click on “My Courses” by the Left side of your screen.
  4. Select your courses one after the other and click “save” when completed.
  5. Click on the print button and reduce to 50% then print it out.
  6. Click “Logout
  7. If you encounter any challenges, kindly visit the ICT Unit.

NOTE:

  • All students should register their courses online before the deadline. Not doing so will subject such student to the payment of late registration.
  • Students who registered the wrong courses or made mistakes during online registration should contact the ICT Unit.
