Sokoto State University, SSU Post-UTME form and Direct Entry form for the 2022/2023 academic session are out on sale. In this post, you will find all the courses and requirements before proceeding to the registration stage.
Eligible candidates can now go online to apply/register for the 2022/2023 SSU post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. The Sokoto State University (SSU) Cut-off Mark for the screening was also announced.
Sokoto State University, SSU Post UTME Screening Dates
The Sokoto State University’s online Post-UTME/admissions screening process for the 2022–2023 academic year will begin on September 12 and run until December 31, 2022.
Who Can Apply For The Screening (Eligibility Criteria)?
Candidates that submitted applications for admission to Sokoto State University, Sokoto, through the UTME and Direct Entry and selected the university as their first preference (i.e., first choice), with a minimum SSU cut-off mark.
Additionally, candidates for direct entry must have earned at least a Lower Credit in their HND or ND, a Merit in their NCE, and 6 points on the IJMB in the applicable fields from an accredited tertiary school.
How To Apply For SSU Post-UTME Form & Direct Entry Screening
The procedure is as follows:
STEP 1: Go to the Screening Portal at portal.ssu.edu.ng.
STEP 2: Enter your JAMB Registration Number as username and UTME score as password for UTME candidate. At the same time, DE candidates should use the JAMB Registration Number as username and password.
STEP 3: Click on the ‘Update Data’ link to update your phone number and email address.
STEP 4: Generate and print your screening payment invoice of the sum of Two Thousand Naira (
N2,000), only containing Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number; after that, proceed to any commercial bank nationwide to make the payment or click on the ‘Pay Now’ link to pay using any of the instant Remita payment channels.
STEP 5: After payment, log in to your screening account again and update your biodata, academic records and other required information.
STEP 6: Upload your O’level/A’ level result (PDF format of not more than 50KB).
STEP 7: Print your acknowledgement slip and payment receipt for record purposes.
Is There A Written Screening Exam?
How will SSU conduct the screening exercise for 2022/2023 academic session? The Sokoto State University screening for this year is strictly online. There will be no written examination required of applicants at any time.
