UI, The Best University in Nigeria – URAP
The best University in Nigeria based on URAP Ranking is the University of Ibadan. This is based on Academic Performance. Few days ago, we shared the list of top 100 Universities in Nigeria Ranking in 2014 (first ranking this year) according to Webometrics. Here is another one.
University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) Research Laboratory was established at Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University in 2009. Main objective of URAP is to develop a ranking system for the world universities based on academic performances which determined by quality and quantity of scholarly publications. In line with this objective yearly World Ranking of 2000 Higher Education Institutions have been released since 2010.
Other Universities ranked from second to sixth are: University of Lagos, University of Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ahmadu Bello University and University of Benin. Source – URAP Nig. Universities Ranking.
