UMYU Registration Procedure for 2024/2025 Freshers

Confirm Admission Status
- Check the UMYU UTME Admission List or UMYU Direct Entry Admission List to verify your admission.
- If your course differs from the one you applied for, visit a JAMB-accredited CBT center or JAMB office to update your program.
- Ensure your O’Level and A-Level results are uploaded to the JAMB portal via a JAMB-approved CBT center.
Accept Admission & Pay Acceptance Fee
- Log in to the UMYU portal to accept your admission.
- Complete the acceptance fee payment and print the provisional admission letter along with other registration documents.

UMYU Registration Procedure | Screening Requirements
After the acceptance fee payment, visit the university for a physical screening with the following documents:
- Printed University Admission Letter
- Original and photocopies of O’ Level and A Level Results
- Scratch card for result verification
- School credentials (e.g., JAMB Result Slip, Post-UTME Result)
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Certificate of Origin (Local Government Identification Letter)
Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Log in to JAMB CAPS and accept the admission offer.
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter and submit a copy during Central Registration.
- Admission confirmation may take 24 to 48 hours.
Central Registration Process
- Registration begins on 3rd February 2025.
- Only students who complete the screening will gain access to course registration.
- Pay all required registration fees via the UMYU official website.
- Upload a passport photograph and digital signature.
- Register for first-semester courses and print all necessary documents.
Faculty and Departmental Documentation
- Report to your Department and Level Adviser to open an academic file.
- Submit the required documents at your Faculty and Academic Office.
- Provide passport photographs, academic credentials, and completed forms.
