UNIBEN Matriculation Ceremony 2015/16 Gown Collection Instructions

As the 2015/2016 matriculation ceremony of the University of Benin approaches, the management of the institution has released instruction regarding the collection of academic gowns by all freshers in the institution. Al such students are hereby informed to read the instructions as below and adhere to them.

UNIBEN Matriculation Gown Collection Instructions

The gown collection date is arranged by departments, check for the day your department falls in and take note of that day.

1. JAN wed. 20th – Collection of gowns by freshers of Agriculture, Arts, Engineering, Basic Medical Sciences, Medicine, Physical and Life Sciences

Time: 08:00am – 05:00pm

2. JAN Thurs. 21st – Collection of gowns by freshers of Law, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Management Sciences, Social Science and Education.

Time: 08:00am – 05:00pm

3. JAN Fri. 22nd – Collection of gowns by freshers of Environmental Sciences, Institute of Education, Institute of Child Health and Institute of Public Admin. & Extension Services (IPAES)

Time: 08:00am – 05:00pm

4. JAN Mon. 25th – Collection of gowns by freshers from all Faculties.

Time: 07:30am – 09:30am

Gown Return/Retrieval

5. JAN Tues. 26th – Retrieval of Gowns

Time: 08:00am – 05:00pm

6. Retrieval of Gowns

Time: 08:00am – 05:00pm

NOTE:

N500.00 fine on a daily bases will be imposed on any student who keeps the gown for more than 24 hours after the Matriculation Ceremony. Students are required to bring along the original and one photocopy of their Eligibility Form.

VENUE FOR BOTH COLLECTION AND RETRIEVAL OF GOWNS IS AT THE BACK OF THE STUDENTS’ CENTRE (BASEMENT).

LAST DAY FOR SUBMISSION OF GOWNS IS TUESDAY 26TH JANUARY, 2016. ANY STUDENT THAT DID NOT RETURN ACADEMIC GOWN BEFORE THE 26TH OF JANUARY 2016, SHOULD RETURN IT TO ROOM 19, VICE-CHANCELLOR OFFICE
