Requirements and Qualifications

The UNICAL massive recruitment requirements vary depending on the rank applied for:

  • Professor (CONUASS 7): Ph.D. or equivalent fellowship (e.g., FWACS, FMCS) with evidence of teaching, research, and community service.
  • Reader (CONUASS 6): At least 3 years as Senior Lecturer plus a Ph.D. or equivalent fellowship.
  • Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 5): Minimum of 3 years as Lecturer I, with a Ph.D. or fellowship.
  • Lecturer I (CONUASS 4): Ph.D. or equivalent, plus 3 years as Lecturer II or related experience.
  • Lecturer II (CONUASS 3): Ph.D. or equivalent with at least 4 years’ post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 2): Master’s degree with coursework and thesis in the relevant field.
