UNILAG Freshers Orientation Programme, 2023/2024
University of Lagos, UNILAG orientation programme of events and dates for 2023/2024 freshers have been released.
This is to inform all the newly admitted undergraduate students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) that the management of the institution has approved the 2023/2024 Orientation Programme for Fresh UTME and Direct entry students.

Orientation Week at a Glance
- Commencement: The orientation kicks off on Monday, 11th December 2023.
- Activities: Expect a range of events from campus tours to interactive sessions tackling crucial student welfare topics.
Schedule of Events
Monday, 11th December 2023
- 9:00 a.m.: Begin with a Campus Tourfocusing on awareness of sexual harassment, drug abuse, rape, and cultism. The starting point is the J.F. Ade. Ajayi Auditorium frontage.
- 12:00 p.m.: An Interactive Sessionawaits you at the Jelili Adebisi Omotola Hall.
Tuesday, 12th December 2023
- 9:00 a.m.: Take part in another Interactive Session and a Guided Tour of the University Main Library, starting from Jelili Adebisi Omotola Hall.
Wednesday, 13th December 2023
- 9:00 a.m.: Engage in an Interactive Session with Freshers at Jelili Adebisi Omotola Hall.
Thursday, 14th December 2023
- 8:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.: Participate in a Novelty Match and enjoy Entertainment at the Sports Centre and J.F. Ade Ajayi Auditorium.
Friday, 15th December 2023
- 1:00 p.m.: A Special Jumat Service will be held for Muslim Freshers at the UNILAG Mosque.
Sunday, 17th December 2023
- 9:00 a.m.: End the week with a Special Thanksgiving Service at the UNILAG Chapel (Chapel of Christ Our Light, UNILAG).

- Participation: It’s highly recommended that all freshers, whether UTME or Direct Entry, participate in all scheduled events.
- Punctuality: Please take note of the dates and times to ensure you don’t miss out on any part of this informative and welcoming programme.
