The Federal Ministry of Communication Technology (FMCT) recently initiated a Computer Ownership Scheme (COS) which allows parents/guardians to acquire laptops for their children/wards through a flexible and easy installment payment programme.
We shared that information about the Students Computer Ownership Scheme with you when the Federal Ministry of Communication Technology (FMCT) rolled it out and schools like the University of Port Hacourt quickly embraced it. Now, information gathered has it that the University of Lagos has also embraced this and students can benefit.
The scheme allows registered students of Nigerian Universities including the University of Lagos, (UNILAG), spread payment for a laptop over a period of 12 to 18 months. Every computer purchased under this scheme has a free Microsoft Office 365 days license.
