UNILORIN Has Not Released 2016 Admission Cut-off Marks

The Management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has released on it’s  official website that the University of Ilorin has not released the 2016 admission cut off marks for admission into any programme for the 2016/2017 academic session. The attention of the management of the University of Ilorin has been drawn to unfounded rumours about the purported release of the cut off marks for this year’s admission exercise. This rumour has especially gained currency on some unauthorised websites and the social media.

Every year thousands of admission seekers fall prey into the hands of scam artists and illegal admission agents who feed them false information about the University’s admission schedule. Since the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board is yet to release the official cut off marks for institutions, the University of Ilorin has also not released any cut-off marks for 2016 admission into the University.

UNILORIN 2016 Unreleased cut off mark

All admission seekers should please take note that the University has not released any cut off marks. We suspect that this unfounded rumour is the handiwork of 419ers whose stock-in-trade is to milk unsuspecting candidates dry! Please don’t fall into their trap. The University will not release any cut off mark until the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Universities Commission (NUC) determine the national cut off marks.

The release of the official JAMB Cut-Off Marks for Universities and Polytechnics will be in June 2016. This was made known by the Public Relations Officer of JAMB, Dr Fabian Benjamin. It is possible that the fellows circulating that unfounded rumour probably copied last year’s cut off marks and are passing it off on the social media as this year’s.

FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, UNILORIN IS YET TO RELEASE CUT OFF MARKS FOR THE 2016/2017 ADMISSION EXERCISE!

PLEASE TAKE NOTE!

We wish all admission seekers best of luck in their  search!!
