UNIPORT Post UTME 2024/2025: How to Register

The University of Port Harcourt – UNIPORT Post UTME Screening Form is officially opened for the 2024/2025 academic session.

If you chose UNIPORT as your first choice during the 2024 UTME, now is the time to apply for their screening exercise.

Eligibility for UNIPORT Post UTME

To be eligible for the UNIPORT Post UTME, candidates must:

• Have selected UNIPORT as their first choice during the 2024 UTME.
• Score a minimum of 160 in the UTME.

Steps to Apply for UNIPORT Post UTME

Registration for the screening exercise begins on Wednesday, 23rd July 2024 and closes on Thursday, 19th September 2024. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Visit the UNIPORT Website: Go to the UNIPORT Post UTME registration page: Post-UTME Registration.
2. Enter UTME Details: Input your UTME Registration Number and confirm your pre-loaded UTME details.
3. Generate Remita Code: Pay the non-refundable fee of ₦2,000.00 using your MasterCard, Visa, or Verve Card, or print the Remita payment slip and pay at any bank using the Remita platform (Banks include Access Bank, Ecobank, Fidelity Bank, First Bank, FCMB, UBA, and Uniport-Choba Microfinance Bank).
4. Obtain Remita Receipt: Collect the receipt, which will show your Access Code from the bank teller.
5. Log In Again: After making the payment, return to the portal from Wednesday, 24th July 2024, and log in using your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code.
6. Complete the Form: Fill in the online form with the required information. If you are awaiting your O’Level results, select “Awaiting Result” on the form.
7. Submit and Print: After completing the form, click the “submit” button and print your registration slip for the screening.

Post-UTME Screening Schedule

The screening dates and venue details will be made available on the UNIPORT website. Candidates are advised to check regularly for updates on the screening exercise schedule.

Important Information for Candidates

• Document Consistency: Ensure that all details on your O’Level certificates, UTME results, and other registration documents are the same. Discrepancies may lead to disqualification.
• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by October 2024 to be eligible.
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, and other gadgets are not allowed at the screening venue.
• Registration Deadline: Ensure you register before Thursday, 19th September 2024, as the online portal will be closed after this date.
• Second Choice Candidates: Those who initially selected UNIPORT as their second choice must change it to their first choice via the JAMB portal before applying.
• O’Level Results: Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as they are available.
• Personal Contact Information: Use a valid email address and phone number to receive updates.
• Physical Presence: Candidates do not need to be physically present on the campus for the registration process; it is conducted entirely online.
• Screening Attendance: Candidates must attend the screening at their designated venues or risk disqualification.
• Parental Presence: Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents are not allowed on the campus during screening days.
