The management of the University of Port Harcourt has been made aware of a bogus message that is making the rounds online and instructing students to resume studies again on October 10, 2022.

Management officially declares that the memo was not created by University Management.

Therefore, it is vital for me to respond in order to correct the false information that the anonymous online blog has published.

Therefore, management wants to warn the public, in particular Parents, Guardians, students, and concerned stakeholders, to ignore the October 10 restart date because it was created by troublemakers.

UNIPORT Resumption Dates (Undergraduates) for 2022/2023 Session

In line with the UNIPORT academic calendar, lectures for fresh students for 2020/2021 academic session will now commence on 3rd May 2021. All concerned students are to note this and act accordingly.

Students are advised to duly pay up their fees and also complete their registration.

Other dates like registration commencement date, the deadline, exam period and so on are also out.
